You still have it Phil … enjoy what you love most … bringing music to the masses

I saw him in Melbourne around 2 1/2 years ago and he was frail then. Phil’s son played the drums and Phil sang… his voice was perfect and I was so happy to finally see him but in stature he was a shadow of himself…
Time humbles us all, I really hope his health improves. Aging is unkind to us all.

He’s an amazing talent, great songwriter. For those who didn’t like his Genesis work, check out Brand X, a jazz-fusion band he was in off and on. Sad to read about his current condition. Phil Collins – always has been – and always will be an outstanding musician – a legend. A composer that was able to transfer harmony, rhythm and a beat with perfect vocals. I bow my head and hope he can reach a point, unlike others, to come to the conclusion…..”I think I can comfortably retire”. I would like to see him knighted. Sir Philip David Charles „Phil“ Collins……would be appropriate after such a career….

He should be proud! His son has picked up his passion and he’s had a great run where his songs have lived through all our lives and his children have gone to make a name for themselves! I still listen to all his songs. BBC
