So the US came , destroyed, dispersed millions of people, for what? The country is back with taliban . The only thing US did is , caused more destruction. How ridiculous is that. I appreciate they wanted a rapid withdrawal to prevent any Taliban incursions or riots from other groups but to just ditch the struggling government forces with no warning in the middle of the night is ridiculous. They left just as they arrived, with little notice and completely inappropriately. I can only hope that the Afghani population is able to hold onto its new found freedom for the forseeable future. When America invades a country to fight terrorism- you say its an occupation & demand they leave …. When they leave …you say its abandonment & betrayal!!!??? So what do you want them to do! They cannot stay in a place where the local population doesn’t want to make peace & rebuild their nation … 20 years has been long enough …. Now sort out your issues by yourselves & go back to the stone age with Taliban rule …. There are people who cannot be helped. How could US be notifying you after they’d finished with your country at all. They’d created an endless war, crisis and conflicts with your support and unfortunately they’re now busy leaving you in vain.
