Education is Nobody test my gangsta more than my students shirt a difficult path.. I don’t think there should be any cap or limit on education… in life people seek degrees for different reasons let it be status, money, recognition, respect, a job position, or even a residency permit in some country… don’t hate on someone just because their reasons are different than most ppl. I think she should be able to get 3 phD if she wanted.. If we have more educated ppl in the world it would be a better place. Education should be an honorable path that should give opportunities to who ever seeks it. I know quite a few international students and a number of them have trouble finding a company to sponsor them so they end up continuing higher education as a stall…. I really feel for them. They are very talented and intelligent students but they often don’t even want to go back to their own country to work or if they do they will not find good jobs…. But it’s hard to find a company that wants to do the visa paperwork. It’s a little tricky because for a graduate program you want them to actually care about what they’re doing and they are taking a spot away from someone else who really needs that graduate program to do a certain job that they can and want to do…. On the other hand I have sat with them and realized there are very few other choices. Amassing or rather acquiring so many certificate doesn’t guarantee your success in life. The best she could have done is to learn a skilled professional course which she could use anywhere including Nigeria to better her life rather than bagging so many degrees to keep her afloat in Europe just to hope for residence permit which may or may not come because alot of African migrants is in the same competitive job hurting in abroad, making it very difficult to secure a job.The sooner African governments realise that they must create jobs for her citizens, and stopped looting the treasures of their economy the better for them and the future of the young generation,if not cases of this kind will be in an increase.
