I’ve tried everything. Plug in Spider ham it can get weirder shirt deterrents, peppermint spray, keeping windows closed etc but the hobnailed boot wearing eight legged Nazis still get in. Had some monsters these last few weeks. I have an agreement with my house spiders, they stay in the basement or dark corners and I let them live happy spider lives. If they come out where I can see them then they gotta die. Spider proof your home…. put conkers (whatever those are) in the corners of your room, but that doesn’t really work…. use peppermint oil, but that doesn’t really work…. you can’t actually spider proof your home and we just made you look at a picture of a spider for no reason…… Thanks!. You can buy a plug that sends a pulse through your walls and scares spiders away. I have one in my bedroom and Ive never seen a spider. We call spiders luck bugs(except those biting ones) in Japan as they eat other uncomfortable bugs…old tales tell, spiders visiting evenings will weave fortune at those houses. Oh common BBC who’s gonna come to Straya now since you keep posting about dangerous creatures that inhabit this great southern land. Truth be told, that’s where a lot of the fatalities used to happen in North America from the black widow spider that’s found here. They frequently would build webs in the outdoor outhouses (before plumbing came to be common). You’d sit down and get bitten. In Australia we check our toilet seats before sitting down. Our shoes (especially if they are kept outside) before putting them on and all garden furniture before sitting on your favourite lounger. When i was little my elderly neighbour was a one legged lady. She lost her leg after a red back bite. This guy was very lucky. “Be careful in the toilet, so your stuff doesn’t hang down, escorpians live there” Said the old Mexican man in the Milagro Beanfield War. How cruel can you be … Chickens and cows ect are murdered in a controlled fashion … But to pull legs and wings off living creatures is sick … I hope karma will come perhaps someone will have there leg ripped off … There is plenty of food on this planet without ripping creatures apart … Eat some leaves fruit mushrooms . Berries eggs. It is gross! Those insects good for animals food chain let them have it, They are eating dog meat , cat meat , snake… too In these region , they are thinking of part of their culture or normal , I wonder if she tried to eat all those. Her eating a spider is no more absurd than you eating a fish, shrimp, cow, or a chicken. It’s just your conditioning. Unless you don’t eat other living beings at all, I don’t see the issue. Edited to add: It is amazing that the same people who criticize people who eat creatures they don’t consider food, also hate on vegetarians and criticize them for NOT eating living things. Diversity is what makes life and this world interesting. Why so much hate, and over diets of all things. Wishing the world a healthier, happier, kinder, peaceful 2018. Bugs are full of protein and many people feel that they will stop world hunger if the stereotype of eating bugs goes away. Your (and many others) gross thoughts on it is what they are intentionally fighting. Making it a normal thing can actually save people’s lives.
